Position:       Forensics Engineer
Location:       Richmond, Virginia, United States
Type:           Permanent F/T

Position: INFORMATION SECURITY ANALYST
Location: Richmond, VA
Duration: Contract to Hire
Salary: $50,000-$69,000

This is a contract to hire position. The client will only consider GC/US 
Citizens as this will go Full Time with the company after 5 months contract. 
The base salary for this position will go up to 69K with a potential of up to 
80K with bonus. The salary offered, will be based on experience level and 
salary history. 

This position will act as a member of Computer Incident Response Team and will 
provide consultation to stakeholders concerning the effective implementation of 
IT security controls along with bringing responsible for the following: 
Investigating security-related incidents, assisting in conducting computer 
forensic investigations and information security risk and vulnerability 
assessments, Ensuring that enterprise information security policies fully 
support all legal and regulatory requirements and that information security 
policies are applied in new and existing applications, Identifying information 
security program weaknesses, Monitoring enterprise IS policy compliance and 
emerging security technologies along with maintaining the client's IS Intranet 
and SharePoint site and improving computer security awareness 


JOB REQUIREMENTS

Candidates MUST have the following experience and knowledge: Candidates MUST 
have at least 2 years of “hands on” experience in Information 
Security Management along with a formal education in IS and having or a 
interest in obtaining Certified Information Systems Security Professional 
(CISSP) certification. Candidates should have experience with Windows, UNIX, 
and/or other operating systems and Knowledge of information security principles 
and procedures; regulatory compliance principles; experience with 
Sarbanes-Oxley; Gramm – Leach – Bliley, and HIPAA; and of the System 
Development Lifecycle. The client would prefer candidates that have Encase 
training.
