Position: Security Consultant

FortConsult is looking to recruit an experienced IT vulnerability expert who
will be responsible for the solution of tasks for our customers and for
maintaining our ongoing ambition to provide the market’s highest quality
in the field of technical IT security.
We need a person who is technically well-grounded in the field of
vulnerabilities to carry out security assessments at different levels for our
growing customer base, which includes Denmark’s biggest and most
security-conscious enterprises.
You will be working in a dynamic environment with professional and competent
colleagues and we expect you to take full responsibility for your own projects
and assignments to the full satisfaction of customers and colleagues alike.
Your primary tasks:
 Security assessment of our customers’ IT systems, e.g. Internet
systems, DMZ systems, internal servers and clients, wireless networks and web
applications. Each security assessment is different and is compiled on the
basis of the needs of our customers and our own test methodologies, which
consist of assessments using a number of automatic tools, in-depth manual tests
and analyses, DoS attacks and tests with insider knowledge.
 Drawing up of structured reports that document the test results.
 Presentation of the reports to our customers – to both management
and technicians.
 Updating and maintenance of FortConsult’s comprehensive test
databases and methodologies.
You will either be working as a project manager on the tasks assigned to you,
where you will be given full responsibility for these tasks before transferring
ownership on conclusion of the project, or as a sparring partner, where you
will be providing continuous advice to the customers on how they should tackle
their security problems in the optimum manner.
In addition, we expect you to keep yourself 100 per cent up-to-date on
developments within the IT security industry.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

It is essential that our new vulnerability expert has several years of
experience of working with IT security testing. We expect that you are a TCP/IP
expert and that your knowledge has been accumulated from positions such as
network or security consultant, network administrator or technician employed by
an Internet service provider. In addition, we are looking for a consultant who
is certified as CISSP or has a corresponding high-level IT security
qualification.
You should be able to recognise your own qualities in the following:
