Position: Security Consultant

FortConsult is looking to recruit an experienced IT security consultant who
will be responsible for the solution of tasks for our customers and for
maintaining our ongoing ambition to provide the market’s highest quality
in the field of technical IT security.
We are looking for a person who is an all-rounder and technically competent in
IT security to provide unbiased security consultancy services for our growing
customer base, which includes Denmark’s biggest and most
security-conscious enterprises.
You will be working in a dynamic environment with professional and competent
colleagues and we expect you to take full responsibility for your own projects
and assignments to the full satisfaction of customers and colleagues alike.
Your primary tasks:
 Unbiased security consultancy services with regard to a range of
aspects related to vulnerabilities, including how best to evaluate and protect
the enterprise against such vulnerabilities. These aspects may involve web
security, wireless security, design of mobile workplaces, the use of early
warning services, IDS monitoring, how IT security is communicated to the users
and how security policies are implemented in practice. These consultancy
services will take place either at sparring meetings or technical workshops
with our customers – or in connection with an actual project.
 Design or review of our customers’ IT security solutions.
 PCI security audits, which we perform on behalf of VISA and MasterCard.
You will either be working as a project manager on the tasks assigned to you,
where you will be given full responsibility for these tasks before transferring
ownership on conclusion of the project, or as a sparring partner, where you
will be providing continuous advice to the customers on how they should tackle
their security problems in the optimum manner.
In addition, we expect you to keep yourself 100 per cent up-to-date on
developments within the IT security industry.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

It is essential that our new security consultant has several years of
experience of working with IT security – either on the customer side or as
a consultant in a security firm – and preferably a certification such as
CISSP, supplemented with Exam. ESL or CISA. We expect that you are an IT
security expert with broad all-round experience in IT security with focus on
TCP/IP and technical project management.
You should be able to recognise your own qualities in the following:
