Job Title : Infrastructure Support Spec.
Location : San Antonio, TX, USA
Duties :
The Infrastructure Support Specialist will take the lead role in the design,
testing, implementation and on-going operations of the dedicated network in
support of the Nerve Center(s). A dedicated network will be implemented with a
high level of security including use of Network Intrusion Detection/Prevention,
Firewalls, Hubs, Routers, Host-based Intrusion Detection/Prevention, Security
Configuration Management Software and VPN's. The establishment of gold builds
will be required for all infrastructure components and O/S builds. The
Infrastructure Support Specialist will act as the system/security administrator
for the network. This role will also backup the security/system administrator.
The role of Security/System administrator will be segregated.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requirements :
* 2+ years hands-on experience with establishing new networks
* 2+ years as a System and Network Administrator with experience in VPNs,
NID's, firewalls, routers and hubs
* System Administration in Windows and Unix servers
* Prior experience with establishing and creating system/infrastructure
* Demonstrated ability in writing detailed standards and operational processes
* Use of ESM or other Symantec products is a plus
Success Factors :
* Able to work under high pressure and deadlines
* Good time management skills
* Ability to work independently
