Job Title :Nerve Center Analyst
Location :San Antonio, TX, USA
This role is responsible for actively monitoring client security
infrastructure. This includes troubleshooting and resolution of security issues
and may address complex or difficult problems as needed, or in conjunction with
other team members. This function will work with SCC, PTA and MSS staffs to
collect, collate, assimilate and analyze data into information and will
interact with client and third-party support to ensure timely delivery of
security issues. This role will provide 12x5 shift coverage, but must be
flexible to 24x7 shifts for short timeframes 2-5 days typically. Nerve Center
Analysts will maintain an up-to-date knowledge of key security systems.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
4-6 years experience working within a Systems Administration environment.
Advanced knowledge of identified operating system platforms; knowledge of
routers, network protocols, scripting, and firewall architecture
Good oral and written communication skills, excellent customer service skills.
One year experience with alert analysis in a computer network
instruction/detection environment or similar field desirable.
Multi-disciplinary focus; both technological skills and information
communication skills are vital.
