The MIIS (Microsoft Identity Integration Server) Integrator is a position on 
the USDA enterprise identity management project. The responsibilities include 
working closely with the operations and engineering teams to integrate USDA 
agency data sources into the enterprise identity management MIIS Metaverse. The 
candidate will be responsible for managing the integration for each connection 
being made to the EIDMS MIIS system. The candidate will act as the interface 
between the agency representatives and the MIIS operations and engineering 
teams while closely following the predefined integration process.

The candidate should possess strong communication skills, the ability to 
implement and follow rigorous integration and operations type processes, convey 
a positive team oriented approach, and show the ability to work independently 
without direct daily guidance. The candidate must be willing to perform in a 
fast paced, team oriented environment. Candidate must also possess strong 
documentation skills. Team leadership or project organization experience is a 
major plus.

The position is located in Fort Collins, CO with the possibility of one 
placement in Washington DC. The candidate will be servicing numerous USDA 
agencies located across the US. The candidate must not only be technically 
savvy, but must also be able to communicate on higher level with less technical 
and more political types. The USDA eAuthentication project is the department's 
enterprise solution for credentialing, authentication, authorization, and 
website security for the agencies of USDA. eAuthentication has grown to include 
over 70K employees, 40K customer/contractors, and over 180 protected websites. 
The scalable architecture for eAuthentication has been designed to handle in 
excess of 2.5 million users and provide front-end single-sign-on security for 
usage of applications via the Internet.

The candidate MUST show experience and/or knowledge in the following technical 
areas:


MIIS (Microsoft Identity Integration Server) or other leading identity 
management products

Workflow and Provisioning Concepts

LDAP

Windows Server (2000 and 2003)

Familiar with different Unix flavors

SQL

Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio

Familiar with .NET Visual Basic and SOAP technology

Basic knowledge of the TCP protocol

MCSE certification a PLUS!
