Position: Security Engineer
Location: New York, New York, United States

Company Overview: This client is selling direct right now to generate pull
thru. Major trials starting Morgan Stanley, Lehman Brothers, Fidelity… Our
focus is a channel strategy.
The company is 2.5 years old we raised $19.6M, in two rounds, (A) Austin
Ventures/Star Capital and (B) Sequoia Capital so the company is extremely well
funded.
They do real-time VOIP protection for voice, video and multi media applications
supporting SIP, IMS, UMA. They are also defending SCCP, 323 and LCS.
Compatibility tested done with Cisco, Avaya and Nortel. They have an enterprise
and Wireless group with boxes that can scales to one million users.
For over 2 plus years they categorized vulnerabilities in above protocols,
built attack tools to simulate the vulnerabilities and produced appliances the
defend against them. They are inline, not attackable, no mac/IP address and are
able to do behavioral learning, fingerprinting, decryption, call state
verification … all in real time <2mls on signaling and < than 100 micro
sec on media
Functional Responsibility:
The selected candidate will be responsible for working with a variety of
financial institutions to ensure their customer files are being stored as
securely as possible. The initial territory will involve various customer
throughout New York City. The territory could eventually grow through out the
East Coast. This individual may eventually be responsible for over-seeing the
entire East Coast.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

A minimum of ten years of security/network engineering experience. Selected
candidate will also have IP security knowledge, any experience with Cisco,
Avaya, or Nortel would be highly desired.
Certificates And Training:
Preferred certifications include: CCIP, CCSP, and CC+
