SUMMARY
The Senior Product Marketing Manager, Security Products will provide strategic
marketing direction for a Websense security products including Websense Web
Security Suite. The Senior PMM will be responsible for developing and directing
go-to-market activity to achieve planned business objectives and growth with a
key emphasis on routes-to-market optimization and strategy. Working with local
marketing teams around the world, s/he will develop tools and training to equip
the sales force, as well as coach/advise the regional marketing teams in
creating effective demand generation programs. S/He will be responsible for
driving marketing strategy across the regions and heading marketing initiatives
for security products. S/he will be the internal evangelist and marketing
expert for the security products.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Specific responsibilities will include:
• Product positioning and messaging
• Product evangelism to marketing, sales, channel, customers and prospects
• The coordination of the go-to-market launch strategy
• Pricing strategy, product content and collateral, and competitive
positioning
• Sales and channel training/education for security products.
This person should be reasonably technical and have experience in security,
networking and systems management, experience working with sales professionals
and engaging directly with customers. They will develop strong relationships
and work closely with Product Management and Marcom.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Minimum five to seven years experience in software/high-tech product
marketing for global organization with at least five years of that in Product
Marketing.
• Strong experience in enterprise system security products
• Strong experience at strategizing and capitalizing on all
routes-to-market including traditional two tier distribution
• Experience working at strategic level
• Strong presentation skills to large audiences
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
QUALIFICATION
• Bachelor's degree preferably in technical or business-related
discipline, or equivalent experience
• MBA preferred
• Ability to self-start, determining own direction to meet business
objectives
• Passion for customer service
• Excellent presentation skills
