Position: Information Assurance Engineer
Location: Camp Victory, Baghdad, , Iraq
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2006-09-21
The Command & Control Integrated Systems (C2IS) Programs Group is seeking an
experienced Information Assurance Security Officer (IASO) to support the
existing Multi National Forces Iraq (MNFI) Headquarters, formerly the Coalition
Provisional Authority (CPA) in Camp Victory, Iraq.
Must be familiar with the DoD standards - guiding the development of IA policy,
requirements, engineering and certification and accreditation. The candidate
must be able to translate security policies and requirements into an IA
configuration implementation and application requirements. The candidate must
be capable of performing network and host vulnerability scans and document
results in relation to residual risk identification. Must be familiar with
network vulnerability scanners (ex. Retina, Harris STAT, ISS, etc.). The
candidate must be familiar with patch management software (ex. WSUS, Update
Expert, SMS, Hercules, etc). The candidate must have experience with web
content filtering (ex. Websense, Blue Coat, etc). The candidate must complete
incident handling processes and analyze data from scans. The candidate will
implement and enforce security policies across the organization. The successful
candidate will be responsible for securing UNIX and Microsoft operating syst
ems as needed. The candidate will be subject to a government security
investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified
information.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Required Skills:
Must have at least 4 years experience.
Must be familiar with patch management software
Must have experience with web content filtering
Must complete incident handling processes and analyze data from scans
Must hold certification as an Information System Auditor (CISA) or possess
certifications from the following: CISSP, SANs, Cisco and Microsoft
Must have a US SECRET security clearance and be a US citizen
Must pass a medical evaluation
Required Education (including Major):
A minimum Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information
Systems, Engineering, or related technical experience is required.
