Position: Security Engineer
Location: Irving, Texas, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

Regional Network Engineering & Integration Services functions as a central
point for site support across multiple businesses within North America.
Network Applied Engineering & Integration provides the following services:
- Network Applied Engineering, Planning, Design and Project Delivery
- Network Integration, Purchasing, Configuration and Deployment
- North America circuit provisioning & inventory
Tier 3 problem support for: North America Data Networking, North America
PKI/SecureID/Authentication, North America B2B environments, North America
Citiplex environments (proxy/load balancer/internet), North America Network
Security & Firewalls
The Sr. Network Security Engineer focuses on security infrastructure systems
and provides security consulting for merger, acquisition & divestiture related
technology implementations, new application deployments, and technology
infrastructure risk reviews. Provide 3rd level support for production problems
and new application deployments.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Minimum of 5 years security and/or network engineering. 3+ years experience
with Entrust PKI, Checkpoint firewalls, and multifactor authentication systems.
Strong Solaris and TCP/IP knowledge with and understanding of host and/or
application security concepts. Knowledge of Cisco routing, BGP, DNS, SMTP, FTP,
HTTP. Perl and Shell scripting a plus.
NON-TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Ability to manage a variety of projects simultaneously and to learn, coach, and
develop yourself and others in a team oriented environment. Excellent
organizational, analytical, verbal and written communication skills are
essential.
