Position: Security Architect
Location: McLean, Virginia, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2006-09-17
We are a fast growing professional and managed services startup company. We are
seeking top-notch full-time network and security system engineers and
architects with a solid broad range of experience-- security (vulnerability,
lockdown, layered defense, processes), large-scale high performance
mission-critical networking, Linux, Microsoft, identity management, and
directory services infrastructure. You have a broad range of technical
expertise and want to work with a team of recognized experts to solve the most
difficult problems and develop winning solutions. You are able to assess
network, application, and security infrastructure at an architectural level and
address and articulate both business and technical requirements. Importantly,
you are truly technical and capable of doing deep-dives to understand the
underpinnings of the technology risk-reward tradeoff in any design or
implementation. Despite your considerable experience (which may range from 5 to
15 years+), you ha
ve maintained a strong hands-on skillset. These are customer-facing positions
and therefore you need to feel comfortable interacting, communicating, and
working closely with customers including developing a strong knowledge of their
business and technical environment. Verbal and written communication skills are
important.

Travel will be required and the amount will vary by position. Relocation is not
required for strong candidates, you may work from your home office.
