Position: Security Engineer
Location: brussels, , Belgium
Type: Contract
Closing Date: 2006-09-17
Contract opening for Technical Expert - Security Expert to start
as soon as possible for 3 months (extendable) in Brussels.
Assistance with the NetIQ Security Manager running mode process.
Analysis of reported security events/alerts
Establish and tune the required incident response processes
Improve the security coverage of the rule base of NetIQ security manager
plus new rule development and management.
Identify new types of reports that would increase security oversight and
visibly of the product
Monitor the correct functioning of the NetIQ security manager
infrastructure groupe wide (manage the support requests of the netiq
security manager infrastructure)
Manage the support requests towards NetIQ
Manage the correct usageof NetIQ security manager infrastructure group wide
Essential experience required :
Microsoft Windows 2000 / 2003
Microsoft Active Directory
Experience with managing an infrastructure of servers.
Experience in the information security domain (experience with security
reporting and security incidence response)
Knowledge of NetIQ Security Manager (or equivalent tool)
Language skills required :
English
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Good verbal and written communication skills (team player)
Microsoft Windows security knowledge
Experience with security incident response
Experience with security reporting
Knowledge of transact SQL and Vbscripting is a bonus
