Job Description 
Our client is a leading provider of information security solutions to the 
mid-market including a focus on financial services, utilities, manufacturing 
and retail sectors. Our client collaborates with their client organizations to 
assess, guard, monitor and protect networks, servers, applications and wireless 
access points as well as to provide actionable intelligence for real-time 
critical decision making. They even teach their client’s employees new 
behavior to prevent inadvertent security breaches. This company sells Security 
Process Management solutions through a mix of Technology, Workflow and 
Knowledge Management. Their objective is to equip their clients with the 
knowledge and understanding necessary to manage outcomes in the information 
security / compliance space. You will be teamed with a sales engineer and an 
inside sales professional while reporting directly to the VP of sales. Your 
focus is mid-market organizations where your point of contact will vary from C
 ISO, CSO, CIO and Director of Security to Operations Manager. You will call on 
“C” level executives and will attend security trade shows and 
conferences. Your sale will be a customizable, complex solution sale that 
includes a mix of product, managed services and professional services. You will 
cover a multi-state territory in the Western part of the US but will be based 
in the San Francisco area.  
  



JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Successful candidates will be highly skilled in solution selling (not just 
product sales). You will demonstrate prior experience selling IT Services 
and/or complex security software. You will demonstrate an understanding of 
security vendors, technologies, industry regulatory compliance issues and 
business drivers. You will provide evidence of past quota, achievement and 
earnings history. It is preferred that you have a BA/BS. Advanced degrees are 
appreciated.
