Real Time Market Data Feed Coordinator
The primary responsibility is to manage and maintain the real time feeds
production systems during market hours and coordinate any work from a technical
and operational perspective.
Candidate will lead various projects related to design and implementation of
new real time market data technologies. Areas of expertise should include
highly available real time market data systems, consolidated vendor and direct
exchange feeds, network multicast technology, routers and switches, network
security, system security, systems monitoring, and Internet technologies.
Candidate will be a technical project manager for any Market Data Feeds related
projects and coordinate project related tasks between various groups within
ITG, including development, networking, Unix/Windows, application support
teams, product management as well as Vendors and Exchanges.
The candidate will also work with the Network team on a daily basis to debug
problems, install or upgrade software, and other tasks related to the operation
of the Real Time Market Data feeds and perform or coordinate with other groups
the installation of hardware and software in the production environment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
The candidate will closely work with our Vendor and Exchange Relations team as
the technical point contact.
Skills needed/desired:
· Good interpersonal and communications skills and commitment to
professionalism.
· Ability to multitask in a time critical environment.
· Knowledge of TCP/IP, IP routing Protocols (RIP, OSPF, BGP),
Cisco IOS, LAN and WAN technology.
· Knowledge of real time market data vendors and their
technologies, i.e. Reuters, Comstock, Bloomberg, Thomson
· Knowledge of direct exchange feeds a plus
· Experience with protocol analyzers, workstation and server
hardware including disk drives, interface boards, memory, power supplies, etc.
· Familiarity with network security and firewalls
· Project management skills
**4 year college degree and 5 years real time feeds experience a must**
