Position: Director, Information Security
Location: Harisburg, Pennsylvania, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

A Senior Consultant/Manager is sought by an International Blue Chip Corporation
to act as Technical Lead within IT Security & Continuity (DR).
The successful applicant will have a broad Technical Security Background and a
sound understanding of Security Architecture. They will have the ability to
provide support, advice and consultation to both the Infrastructure of the
organisation but also to projects & programs involving client requirements as
if they were a providing a managed consultancy service/solution.
The successful applicant needs to also genuinely understand IT Continuity, be
knowledgeable in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery and be able to
assist in the formulation of programs and architecture.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

A sound Knowledge of IT Security, Continuity & Disaster Recovery.
The best candidates will have a minimum of 5 years corporate/operational
experience of undertaking similar work and running an IT Security Departemnt.
They will have carried out some internal or external consultancy during their
career and maybe have worked for a Technology Solutions Consultancy/Provider.
You will have experience of being involved and/or setting up a Security
Practice and a DR structure from scratch.
The individual will have experience of managing budgets, SLA's and a
team/department - either directly or as virtual teams.
International work experience (ideally UK) would again be an advantage as this
role will involve working on International projects.
