Position: Security Architect
Location: New York, New York, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

Responsibilities:
· Represent the Information Security organization by liaising
with business owners, stakeholders, engineering teams, and governance
committees.
· Ensure that the security program is integrated into the
organization’s product delivery and development methodology. Including
responsibility for integrating the organizations security policy and posture
into products, applications, technologies, and services.
· Implement the security program’s risk and control
framework and global IT Risk strategy. Entailing planning and coordination of a
technical qualitative security risk management model including: threat
identification, quantitative analysis, prioritization, mitigation planning,
documentation, and information distribution.
· Assist security leaders in building out projects and programs
supporting all facets of the security organization.
· Lead/participate in local and global discussions to formulate
new or enhance existing security processes, policies, and standards.
· Monitor security industry information sources and keep abreast
of events, research, and developments

JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Skills Required:
· Must have very strong technical and architecture skills within
the information Security area.
· Experience with integration of security services including
authentication, authorization, encryption and audit capabilities as part of an
overall system design.
· Demonstrate strong understanding of IP protocols, network
architecture, and appliances; including routers, firewalls, HSM devices, load
balancers.
· Good understanding of J2EE App servers (IBM Websphere), and
Portal application architectures
· Knowledge of encryption technology, digital signing, PKI, VPN,
IPSec, SSL, and Single Sign-On approaches.
· Strong understanding of well-known attack types such as
cross-site scripting, SQL injection, buffer overflows, format string bugs, et
cetera.
· Knowledge of UNIX/Solaris, Windows, application and network
security technologies.
· Polished and professional oral and written skills. Experienced
facilitator and briefer.
· Proven and demonstrated leadership qualities including the
ability to collaborate with various groups, foster and develop a common
understanding regarding the present and future state of security architecture
across technical and managerial levels.
· Certifications, any of these: CISSP, CISA, SANS, GSEC, GCIH,
CCNP, are a plus.
· Experience with SOX, GLBA and regulated environments a plus
