Position: Penetration Engineer
Location: North Bay, California, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2006-07-23
Qualifications
Vulnerability scanning experience with tools like nessus, eEye Retina, ISS
Security Scanner Experience with port scanners like nmap as well as
vulnerability assessment tools like nessus.
Experience with Apache web server and web application development.
TCP/IP and network knowledge and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, FTP, SQL, RPC,
SSL, SSH, SMTP, windows active directory or SNMP.
Understanding of Operating System such as Unix and Windows.
Proficient in sniffing and analyzing network traffic.
Understanding of any of the following: VPN, Firewalls, Intrusion detection
system (IDS), Intrusion prevention systems (IPS) or cryptography algorithms.
Understanding any of the Authentication/Authorization technologies such as
LDAP, RADIUS, and NTLM/Active Directory.
Good communication and writing skills.
Past experience with network security products or penetration testing is highly
desirable.
