Position: Technical Support Engineer
Location: Bay Area, California, United States

Senior Network Security Technical Support Specialist
We are looking for a hands-on and self-motivated individual to be responsible
for providing 2nd tier technical customer support and managing a small
technical support team. The candidate will also research and help resolve
security issues.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in network and systems administration.
Experience with wide variety of hardware, operating systems, and network
architectures.
Strong network troubleshooting skills with basic IP protocols. Solid
understanding of DNS, DHCP, server/client configuration, TCP/IP networking
hardware, protocols, LAN and WAN technologies, and web security architectures.
Must be a critical thinker with excellent verbal and written skills.
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and be proactive with customer
issues.
Additional Pluses:
Experience with network security tools such as nmap, Ethereal, Snort, Netcat,
Nessus, Nikto, Tripwire
Additional:
Network or security related ceritifcations such as CISSP, CNA, or CCNP a +.
This is a fulltime position in the North Bay.
