Summary: The Sr. Security Project Manager (PM) provides leadership and 
direction for Information Security projects including the Planning, 
Architecture, Operations, and Monitoring of FADV Information Security Programs 
and associated Information Technologies. More specifically, the PM will manage 
the following areas: security architecture, policy development, management and 
exception processes, risk assessment and management, awareness training and 
user education, compliance monitoring, intrusion and incident detection, 
incident response, privacy protection, user advocacy, project planning, 
management and execution. The position will assist with the development of 
capital and operating funding requirements for each project. Finally, the PM is 
tasked with ensuring that projects are executed within the specified time frame 
and in line with budgetary estimates indicated during the project-planning 
phase. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify requirements 
and ef
 fectively coordinate solutions are critical for this position.
The PM position requires the following activities:
•  Creation and execution of project work plans and revise as appropriate 
to meet changing needs and requirements
•  Identification of resources needed and assigns individual 
responsibilities 
•  Management of day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope 
•  Review of deliverables prepared by team before passing to client
•  Following our methodology and enforcing project standards 
•  Preparation for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures
•  Management of client expectations; communication with client as needed
•  Ensure our exposure and risks are minimized on each project
•  Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately

Essential Duties & Functions:   %
1.      This position will be responsible for project planning, estimating, 
tracking and management.  This includes working closely with the business 
functional areas, and external customers and vendors in defining 
systems/project priorities, scope, approach, resource requirements, timing 
deliverables and funding.  This position will also be responsible to manage 
technology and consulting vendor/partner relationship, service delivery and 
overall performance.  40%
1.      Establish strong working partnerships with project participants and 
other relevant stakeholders to optimize project delivery    10%
2.      Represent the project to various divisions and components as well as to 
various external entities       5%
3.      Communicate regularly with executive management and Security Team 
regarding the status of current project initiatives; obtain executive guidance 
and approval as required to advance initiatives        5%
4.      Cultivate close working relationships with the IT, security, business 
teams and users on new and existing projects      3%
5.      Provide training and advice to junior security staff and/or other 
non-security professionals, including staff in the business units     2%
6.      Provide input to the Information Security awareness program     3%
7.      Provide input to the annual security budget cycle       2%

Other Responsibilities: 
Responsible for meeting contractual milestones and client expectations, and for 
producing high quality results. S/he builds relationships with counterparts on 
the client execution team, provides leadership to team members, is proactive in 
managing risks, removes tactical barriers to success, is a focal point for 
communication on project status, works to create re-useable assets
Must be able to define project scope, develop detailed baseline project plans 
and technical specifications, facilitate the collection of technical, 
operational or business requirements, set milestones, as well as track and 
manage projects to successful completion.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Knowledge and Skills Required:
1.      Must have experience managing large technical projects across multiple 
teams in an Information Technology or related business environment
2.      Familiar with the principles of Information Technology/Security at a 
high-level and how they pertain to project success
3.      Proficiency in formal project management methods, including internal 
documentation and external communications
4.      Experience-honed approach to risk aversion, risk management and change 
control
5.      Strong ability to multitask many projects at one time.
6.      Ability to develop effective recommendations for security information 
assets required.
7.      Excellent Communication Skills (both oral/written); documentation 
requirements are: exceptions reports, audit/review reports, technical/process 
recommendations, reporting of statistics/metrics, technical standards, 
procedures, and guidelines, etc.).
8.      Knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques and 
tools
9.      Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high volume, 
deadline-driven environment.
10.     Strong experience with the use of project management software; 
resource/timeline/task management; business cases, ROIs, etc.
11.     Ability to analyze complex problems, interpret operational needs and 
develop integrated, creative solutions
12.     Ability to develop project budgets and projections
13.     Understanding and use of project management tools, including the MS 
Office suite, Visio and MS Project

Education and Work Experience:
Four-year Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
5+ years experience in Project Management
Professional Project Management certifications a plus
