Position: Security Consultant
Location: Milan, , Italy
Type: Permanent F/T

One of the top three global network vendors is looking to become the market
leader through an aggressive organic and inorganic growth strategy. Therefore
they seek to recruit a team of consultant engineers of JNCIE / CCIE level of
accreditation to fill various positions across Europe and the Middle East.
Ideal candidates will be accredited to at least JNCIS / CCNP level and
preferably will have experience of working for a major vendor of network
solutions, although candidates with good consulting skills from an End User
background are also of significant interest. An in depth knowledge of Cisco,
Juniper, Nortel or equivalent products is essential. You should have extensive
experience of the operation, design principles and troubleshooting of TCP/IP,
IP Routing Protocols: BGP, OSPF (and/or ISIS), MPLS, Multicast protocols,
Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, ATM, Frame Relay, PPP. Ideal candidates will have 5-6
years experience in a hands-on technical role, including 3 years spent su
pporting large IP networks. Some international travel will be required in
this role- an excellent opportunity to travel the EMEA region. You must be
able to act pro-actively to solve problems within the network and participate
in network design exercises. Excellent communication skills are a must as you
will providing advice as a technical authority and developing and maintaining
