Position: Information Assurance Engineer

Job Title:Information Assurance Engineer - PERM position
City/Location: Arlington, VA
Job Description: This position will be required to work with various
departments within the organization to raise security awareness. Provide
security guidance during the requirements, development and implementation
stages of Hardware/Software purchasing and implementation decisions. Design,
architect and implement secure solutions to mitigate risks to the organization.
The candidate should understand complex security issues and be able to
communicate these issues to both technical and non-technical peers. Provide
solid input in the development and enforcement of enterprise-wide policies.
Provide innovative suggestions to improve existing processes or create new ones
where necessary to improve the security posture of the enterprise or streamline
business processes.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requirements/Responsibilities & Experience Desired:
Must possess at least an interim Secret Clearance
Must have a strong understanding of Network Security, including TCP/IP, DNS,
Firewall Technologies, IDS/IPS, Anti-Virus technologies, Two Factor
Authentication, Encryption, PKI/Digital Certificates, as well as IPSEC and SSL
based VPN solutions.
The candidate should have experience designing security architectures based on
business requirements and should be capable of demonstrating their knowledge.
Minimum Qualifications needed:
Minimum 5 years experience in Security with at least 2 years dedicated to
security design and implementation.
