The selected candidate will also be involved in the identification, evaluation, and selection of an expanding infrastructure security tool portfolio as necessary to enhance the availability, integrity and confidentiality of HCSC’s infrastructure. Position Basic Functions: Basic Functions: This position is responsible for the engineering and 2nd level support of HCSC Infrastructure Security Networks. This person will be responsible for the following functions: Specifications, design and analyses of security infrastructure architecture. Lead development and implementation of new security technology and systems. Establishing and maintaining security policy, standards and practices. Perform and lead vulnerability assessments. Provide 2nd – 3rd level security incident investigation and liaison to Incident Response Office or customers Additional responsibilities include managing repair of services, researching new technology, risk assessment, and vulnerability mitigation. Other duties include leading operational surveillance and investigation of the infrastructure for fault recognition and security vulnerabilities, implementation of technology and systems, and contributing to establishing and maintaining security standards using best practices.
