Position:       Sales Representative
Location:       anywhere, , United States
Type:           Permanent F/T

We are seeking a qualified technical Sales Representative to help lead our 
northwest sales offices.

Title: Sales Representative/ Sales Engineer
Location: Anywhere
Travel: 45% travel (locally and regionally)

On a pre-sales basis, the consultant will: 
(1) Assist Professional Services with the creation of statements of work, 
(2) Assist with sales calls as needed 
(3) Work within the larger Professional Services and Sales organizations as 
needed to help drive consulting business 

On a post-sales basis, the consultant will: 
(1) Deliver network and security consulting engagements 
(2) Provide documentation and presentations to customers as needed 

The consultant will service customers throughout the sales areas. The 
consultant may have both pre-sales and post-sales responsibilities. Some 
engagements are performed on site while others can be performed remotely. The 
consultant should expect approximately 45% travel to locations depending on 
pre-sales and post-sales needs.


JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Skills:
With regard to information security, the consultant should: 
(1) Be able to understand the design, development, and implementation of secure 
infrastructures 
(2) Be familiar with major security technologies (firewalls, IDS) 
(3) Be familiar with assessment methodologies and comfortable to conducting 
such assessments 
(4) Familiarity with IPSec a strong plus 
(5) Certifications – CISSP/CISM/CISA/SANS GSEC are strong plusses 

With regard to networking, the consultant should: 
(1) Be able to understand networking technologies 
(2) Configuration of routers/switches/firewalls 
(3) Certifications – CCNP. A CCIE would be a strong plus 
(4) Understand high availability design methodologies 

With both networking and security areas, the consultant should: 
(1) Have good customer facing skills 
(2) Feel comfortable in being in customer meetings and working on site with 
customers 
(3) Be able to communicate technical concepts to others, some of whom may not 
be technical 
(4) Strong written communication skills
