Position: Security Researcher
Location: Cambridge, , United Kingdom
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2006-06-15
I'm looking to make contact with talented and experienced software and
application security testers, with experience of analysing and identification
of subtle security weaknesses in "of the shelf" applications, as well as
creating solutions to these. There are both senior and junior positions within
this organisation, and at senior level the right individual will also have the
ability to communicate with and train the development and engineering teams in
avoiding the more common application vulnerabilities at coding stage.
You'll need some pretty advanced penetration test experience, on a purely
application level with coding experience in C, and C++ on both windows and UNIX
platforms. You'll also need experience in testing and development of web based
apps, and solid understanding of network protocols inc TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, SSL
etc. Understanding of thin client solutions would also be a significant
advantage.
All approaches are treated in strictest confidence, as we understand how small
this market is. For the right skills my client is prepared to apply for working
VISAs, but WILL NOT cover the cost of interviewing in the UK.
