Position: Security Researcher
Location: North Sydney, New South Wales, Australia
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2006-06-07
Newly created position, unique opportunity for someone experienced in;
-Windows Binary and Exploit reverse engineering to analyze and fully understand
threat behaviors.
- Understand the infection and stealth techniques used by malware.
- Provide technical guidance to other malware analysts.
- Developing detection and removal logic.
- Develop tools malware processing and research
- Validate implemented solutions.
- Perform extensive research on highly technical issues
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Your success within the role is based on your;
- Deep Understanding of Windows internals (Win32 operating system and Memory
architecture)
- Expertise with x86 assembly language.
- Programming experience with C/C++ in a Windows environment
- Reverse engineering experience with industry-standard tools including "Soft
Ice" and "IDA Pro"
- Experience with networking
- Knowledge of and previous experience in disassembling computer spyware,
trojans and worms.
- 4+ years experience in software development.
Ideally and highly desirable is your experience in;
- Firewall and intrusion detection
- Transport protocols (TCP/IP, IPX/SPX, NetBEUI)
