Position: Information Assurance Analyst

Consider applying for an exciting position working for Valador, Inc., a
fast-growing Federal Government Contractor in Herndon Virginia. We provide
support for customers such as the Department of Veterans Affairs, NASA, the
Defense Threat Reduction Agency, and the Department of Homeland Security in the
areas of information assurance, modeling and simulation, and management

We have an imediate need for 1 CERT Lead position and will shortly have an
opening for an Intermediate IDS Analyst. The work will be preformed on our DoD
customer’s site near Springfield, VA.
The CERT Lead is responsible for the day to day operations of Incident
Handling, IDS Analysis, and Feedback to Security Architecture and Engineering
team. (among many other tasks and responsibilities)
The Intermediate position will be responsible for monitoring the networks,
reviewing raw data, making recommendations for sensor tuning, and providing
data and analysis to support the incident handlers. Research and the ability
to participate in other areas of Valador interests, such as vulnerability
assessments and pen-testing, is open for all Jr. and Intermediate positions for
cross training and development.
For the Lead position, occasional (5%) work after normal duties hours will be
required in support of ongoing operations.
The intermediate position will be shift work from 12:30 – 21:00 hours. M
– F. Relocation Expenses will not be approved for the intermediate
position.
