Position: Threat Analyst
Location: Springfield, Virginia, United States

Consider applying for an exciting position working for Valador, Inc., a
fast-growing Federal Government Contractor in Herndon Virginia. We provide
support for customers such as the Department of Veterans Affairs, NASA, the
Defense Threat Reduction Agency, and the Department of Homeland Security in the
areas of information assurance, modeling and simulation, and management
consulting. And our benefits structure is outstanding - Valador pays 100% of
all medical and dental benefits, and we have a profit-sharing program where the
company contributes, and not the employee.
We are looking to fill 3 intermediate Vulnerability Analyst positions and 1
intermediate Penetration Testing position to join our Risk Analysis Team. The
majority of the work for all positions will be based out of our Herndon, VA
office. Travel will be 15%, to our customer sites through-out the US.
Relocation Expenses will not be approved for these positions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
The successful candidates for these positions will have:
- 2 to 8 years experience and a minimum education equivalent to a college
Associate Degree
-Demonstrated abilities with common Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration
Testing tools
-Experienced at:
--scan result analysis
--document preparation
--presentation of materials to customers
-Ability to modify tools to better meet the customer's needs
-Ability to research and determine methods to detect and combat new threats
-Determination to tackle the tough challenges during times of high activity
