Position: Penetration Engineer
Location: Ashburn, VA (anywhere for the Guru types), Virginia, United
States
Type: Permanent F/T

We are Verizon/NetSec and are in the process of building a world class VAD
group (Vulnerability Assessment Divison). We are looking for experinced
mid-level to guru status application penetration engineers OR very good
JAVA/OOD developers would want to be trained in the art of security penetration

Seeking:
* Guru level Penetration Testers
(to 140+K) (any major city)
80% hands on and 20% research work.
* Senior Level Application Penetraion Testers
(to 120+K) (Ashburn,VA)
* Mid-level JAVA/OOD Developers
(to 90K)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

* Required Skills:
-------------------
- Advanced knowledge of ANSI C
- Advanced transactional web application testing concepts
- Advanced knowledge of common web development languages including:
Java, ASP .NET and PHP
- Knowledge of common programmatic flaws in web applications:
XSS, SQL injection et al
- Knowledge of common programmatic flaws in soft client and server applications
- Proficiency in cross platform debugging:
IDA Pro Advanced, OllyDBG, gdb et al
- An active interest in information security
- Good written English / technical writing skills

* Desired Skills:
------------------
- Familiararity with SoftICE / Visual SoftICE (or other software ICE)
- Experience with Windows driver development
- Experience researching and leveraging software vulnerabilities
- Knowledge of at least one commercial IDE (Borland/Visual Studio et al)
- Basic knowledge of Windows 9x/NT OS internals
- Basic understanding of 8086 assembler
