Position: Sales Engineer
Location: Herndon, Virginia, United States

Sales Engineer
We are currently seeking a Sales Engineer position located in Herndon, VA. The
candidate will support the sale and installation of primary technologies
(mostly appliance-based) such as firewall, ssl vpn, intrusion protection, proxy
content filtering and antivirus, email protection systems,
Minimum Qualifications needed:
• Minimum of 2-3 years in customer-facing technical position
• Minimum of having exposure to information security products.
• Understanding of network and Internet Protocols
Any Additional comments to help in the search:
• This person really needs to be comfortable with learning new
technologies, embracing opportunities to evaluate our vendors’ products
technically as well as from a positioning in the market place. We will look to
this person as a guide to the recommendation of technologies and our clients
will be looking to them to assist them in developing their requirements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requirements/Responsibilities & Experience Desired:
• 2-3 years in information security
• Experience with products such as: Check Point, Nokia, Blue Coat, ISS,
F5, Ciphertrust, Secure Computing, RSA, Websense, Trend Micro
• Experience in a quota-bearing selling environment they were responsible
for assisting the sales in meeting a quota.
