Our client is a world leader in the production of offensive and defensive
missile systems and related weapons used for air-to-ground, air-to-air, land
and naval combat.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position is primarily responsible for security oversight and administration of
systems and networks supporting trusted operating systems and multilevel
security network hardware involving various platforms. Knowledge of multilevel
security (MLS) including mandatory access controls and labeling, least
privileged tailored access, intrusion detection systems, firewalls, high-to-low
security guards, and information assurance is required. Candidate will provide
security support for system and network architectural solutions leading to the
development of proof of concept and/or system certification and accreditation
(C&A). Successful candidate will have in depth knowledge of NISPOM, DCID 6/3,
JAFAN, DITSCAP and Common Criteria requirements and will have established
strong relationships with customers and their designated approval authority
(DAA) personnel. Candidate should be a self-motivated leader, capable of
generating plans and procedures, monitoring his/her own progress toward
program goals, briefing peers and senior management on issues relating to
systems security activities, and leading teams on analysis/design activities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

REQUIRED SKILLS:
The selected individual must have a strong technical background in multi-level
security operating systems and network technologies and experience in system
compliance auditing IAW government directives. A thorough understanding of
NISPOM, DCID 6/3, JAFAN and DITSCAP requirements and experience developing
concept and/or system certification and accreditation (C&A) documents to
include System Security Plans, SAAs, SSAAs and Accreditation Plans and
Procedures is required.
Experience with a broad range of network products such as firewalls, intrusion
detection systems, routers, and switches, as well as Windows NT/2000, Linux,
Trusted Solaris and Trusted IRIX is required. Candidate must be a team player
with excellent verbal and written communication skills and the proven ability
to work effectively with internal/external customers and IT management and
staff.
Must have multilevel security experience in operating systems, and have
Certification and Accreditation documents. Must have an existing Top Secret
Clearance.
DESIRED SKILLS:
Industry or technical certification (e.g. SANS, CISSP, CNE, MCSE, CSE, SUN
Professional) or equivalent desired.
EDUCATION:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
