Position: Jr. Security Analyst
Location: Washington DC (Downtown), District of Columbia, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2006-05-14
We are looking for a Security Analyst with the following skills and expertise:
-Expertise with at least one of the following security challenges and
corresponding solution solutions (and a good understanding of the rest)
-data
-application
-hardware / network
-overall enterprise
-Strong customer service understanding
-Excellent written and oral communication
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
-Preparing a security plan for implementing any applications
-Identifying threats, vulnerabilities and addressing them within and outside
the application environment
-Understanding user roles, and access needs and defining the access control
list and mechanisms
-Make necessary preparation and documentation for seeking clearance and
certification from Enterprise Security team
-Identifying and analyzing security threats, vulnerabilities and define
appropriate solutions across the enterprise as part of the enterprise
architecture
-Ensure compliance with various applicable industry and government standards
-Plan and perform security reviews, audits and testing at a system or at an
enterprise level
Following will be an advantage –
- Familiarity with FIPS & NIST standards
- Familiarity with FEAF
- Familiarity with ITIL
- Aware of IT industry trends
