Position: Sr. Security Analyst
Location: Waukegan, Illinois, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2006-05-19
This position is full-time and located in our Waukegan, IL office.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a rapidly growing
infrastructure security team. The selected individual will play a key role
supporting and administering network security infrastructure devices, being
part of new project teams, and providing 2nd level support for network security
incident and problem management.

delivering a comprehensive enterprise security strategy. As a member of the
security team you will work to enhance the existing building blocks for a
secure and protected network environment in an organization focused on
continuous improvement of its security posture while working with some of the
sharpest technical minds in the industry. You may expect that in this role your

Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities of the Security Operations Analyst will be day-to-day
administration of existing security infrastructure solutions (firewall, FTP,
DNS, Big IP load balancers, IDS/IPS, etc.), contributing to business and
security related enhancement projects, providing 2nd tier security support,
including some forensic analysis, and utilizing your exceptional customer
service, communication, and documentation skills.
The selected candidate will also be involved in the identification, evaluation,
and selection of an expanding infrastructure security tool portfolio as
necessary to enhance the availability, integrity and confidentiality of our
infrastructure.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:
• 3 + years of related information security work experience
• Advanced understanding of TCPIP protocol, Ethernet Topology, Switches
and Routers, Services (DNS, FTP, SNMP, etc), Packet Tracing
• Advanced level understanding of 2 or more systems (Microsoft, Novell,
Unix, etc.) – ability to harden & security certify 1
• Security DID - Strong understanding of 4 or more tools including
advanced working knowledge of 2 – ability to administer & configure 3 or
more tools
• Excellent communication, customer service, & documentation skills
• Strong understanding of PM concepts - PM experience a plus
• Plusses would be any of the following:
 2nd Level Security Event Problem Resolution
 Basic Forensic Analysis
 Knowledge of one or more Network Scanning Tools
 VPN (Cisco Concentrators & Access Controls)
 Firewalls (Checkpoint and/or Cisco)
 F5 Load Balancers
 Penetration Testing
 Ethical Hacker Certification
 Wireless Networking Security Experience
 IDS Monitoring & Event Correlation – experience with
Enterasys Dragon or eSecurity significant plus
 HIPAA compliance experience
