Sr. Sales Executive is responsible for achieving assigned monthly, quarterly 
and yearly sales objectives representing Verisign's Security Services 
Division's multiple product offerings in a named account and geographic 
territory. The successful candidate will excel in Consultative Selling and 
possess the professionalism and experience to surpass gross sales revenues and 
bottom line profits. They must be highly skilled in successfully managing the 
sales process from discovery to account development, negotiations and closings. 
Demonstrated ability to build strong and lasting relationships within client 
groups and C-level contacts with an understanding of the issues they face.

Responsibilities:
•  Identify and close new business as well as management and up selling of 
existing accounts.
•  Perform sales and technical discussions with potential clients, as well 
as, presentations and preparation of proposals documents.
•  Establish, build and manage client relationships with key decision 
makers and build "trust" within those organizations.
•   Leverage client context by understanding client's overall business 
goals and be able to position Verisign as a Strategic IT partner are essential 
to the role.
•  Work with Solutions Leaders and Subject Matter Experts within Verisign 
to maximize opportunities
•  Achievement of set Quota and sales goals.
•  Educate clients on Verisign’s opportunities for Internet Security 
and Services and be adept at overcoming technical and business objectives of 
prospective clients.
Skills:
•  Capable of performing a consultative selling role in a technical 
services environment.
•  Ability to generate your own leads as well as work with inside sales 
team. 
•  A proven and consistent track record producing annual revenues of over 
$2 million is required. 
•  Proficient in Account Planning and understanding of territory 
management 
•  Proven ability to provide timely and accurate revenue forecasting
•  Ability to quickly assimilate industry specific information and account 
knowledge then translate to a sales strategy.
•  Ability to development integrated solutions based on contract offerings 
and Client needs.




JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Experience and Education:  
•  Minimum 8 + years proven consultative Sales experience in high 
technology 
•  Services Sales experience preferred: software or hardware considered 
•  In depth industry knowledge, i.e. Financial Services, Health Care or 
Pharmaceutical 
•  Candidates should possess a BS/BA Degree in a business or Technology 
Discipline
•  Travel is required
