Position: Evangelist
Location: Anywhere on the West Coast, California, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

Trusted Security Advisor (Director Level)
This person will act as the "face of security" for NetSec to the c-level of
major corporations. This is the new position on the west coast, can live
anywhere as long as they will do 30% travel on the west coast. Clients like
Honda, Microsoft, Damiler Cyrlser, etc. This is a client facing role at the
c-level and basics a subject matter expert in IT security and security services.
Person will:
- be more of an evangelist type
- bring credibility to the team
- convey a firm understanding of the IA industry
- convey industry trends and analysis
- provide high level solutions at a strategic level.
- provide presentation and talks with clients and trade show
Person should be a heavyweight in the industry, known. (ex-CISO or ex-CSO
(Chief Security Officer)).
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Functional Responsibilities: Provide security industry expertise to support the
sales staff in customer meetings with high level security staff an executives.
Candidates will work with both sales and delivery on both the MSS and PSS
delivery organizations. Role will help bring security credibility to Verizon
Business for large customer. This will involve not only customer meetings, but
speaking engagements and executive briefings.
Minimum Qualifications: 10 years industry security experience. Background in
working with large customers and risk management. Understanding of current
security landscape, including technology, regulations, and trends. Must have
strong written and verbal skills and a good presenter. Must be able to
articulate security topics at a high level to customer executives and
communicate with technical staff.
Additional Qualifications : Would like to have had candidates to have been
speakers and industry conferences, have been quoted or interviewed by the
press, or already be recognized as a security industry expert.
