--------------------------------------------------- SECURITYFOCUS JOBS - NEW OPPORTUNITY --------------------------------------------------- JOB DESCRIPTION --------------------------------------------------- Position: Information Assurance Analyst Location: Melbourne/Palm Bay, Florida, United States Type: Permanent F/T Closing Date: 2006-05-12 Responsibilities: • Ensure system availability, data integrity and confidentiality of classified & unclassified systems in a closed area • Document network security configuration in NIST or NISPOM SSPs; maintain the SSPs and periodically audit the security configuration to verify continued compliance • Evaluate ISS aspects of information technology hardware, software, networks and communications interfaces • Recommends measures to maintain compliance with government regulations • Develops reports and security plans for IS systems • Maintains databases for various systems • Provides training and guidance to internal customers • Acts as a liaison between internal and external customers.
