Position: Security Engineer

Strategic Consulting, Business Intelligence, Database Marketing Knowledge
Center Development and Maintenance, Analytical Services, Data Products, List
Processing, Mail Production and Response Processing Services.
The Security Engineer will be responsible for the daily administration of
security systems and activities. Duties include:
-Conducting internal audits in accordance with ISO 17799 and NIST standards.
-Performing vulnerability assessments and penetration testing (all layers).
-Assisting with the design and implementation of physical security systems.
-Conducting product and application go-live security assessments.
-Conducting constant review and research on emerging security threats and
vulnerabilities.
-Reviewing and creating security training material.
-Serving as the resident expert regarding all ethical hacking activities.
-Designing and implementing logical security technology.
-Providing project management, scheduling, and communication for all security
initiatives and tasks.
-Planning, scheduling, and executing ethical hacking exercises.
-Conducting risk analysis and assessment.
-Providing limited briefings and training on information security.
-Coordinating with IT, project teams, customers, and vendors.
-Potential responsibilities related to disaster recovery.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

-5 to 7+ years directly related IT/security experience.
-Minimum of 3+ years firewall, IDS, or system security experience.
-Extensive experience hardening network and server systems, installing and
configuring network devices.
-Extensive experience in the implementation and auditing of ISO 17799 and BS
7799.
-Excellent project management skills.
-Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
-Previous experience in a startup or fast paced dynamic environment a plus.
Information security experience in audit, policy compliance, and penetration
testing is also a plus.
-IT/security certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, CCNP, or CEH preferred but not
required.
-Strong knowledge of communications theory (Ethernet signaling, OSI model, TCP
states, routing protocols, layer 7 penetration testing, input validation).
