Position: Application Security Architect
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2006-04-24
Responsible for developing clear, comprehensive and integrated information
security architectures which support the delivery of business solutions with a
business unit, consistent with enterprise requirements, and provide long-term
competitive advantage in the three to five year time frame. Reviews
architectural designs to verify security and to ensure consistency,
maintainability and flexibility. Analyzes highly complex enterprise wide
system, technical and product issues to develop the strategic technical
direction. Investigates and forecasts IT trends. Acts as risk assessment
consultant and architecture guide. Leads projects or subprojects of strategic
impact.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Bachelors or Masters Degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent
experience; technical Masters Degree preferred. Generally a minimum of 10 years
related experience. In-depth knowledge of information security; expert-level
knowledge of at least one information security discipline. Knowledgeable in
software engineering languages and tools; proficient in new and emerging
technologies, as well as legacy code and mainframe. In-depth understanding of
layered solutions and designs; in-depth understanding of shared software
concepts and requirements. In-depth knowledge of business operations,
objectives and strategies; in-depth understanding of global business and
technology trends and the financial services industry.
Highly developed negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skills.
Highly developed oral and written communication skills; strong presentation
skills.
