Position: Information Assurance Analyst
Location: Battle Creek, Missouri, United States
Type: Contract

Required: Candidate must have passed certified Drug Test & Background check
prior to start date.
Required: Candidate MUST be a U.S. Citizen.
Targeted rate $ 55.00 70.00 / hour W-2 +
Long Term Contract, Possible Contract to Hire
Job Description:
Implementation of federal security regulations and coordination with government
agencies regarding compliance with regulations. Will conduct risk assessment
and provide recommendations for application design. Prepares manuals outlining
regulations and establishment of procedures for handling, storing and keeping
records and granting accesses.
Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive
action to be taken. Will be responsible for preparing/maintaining the
accreditation material (SSAA) required by the DAA.
Perform Configuration Management and release engineering tasks to ensure new
software product operating parameters are documented, comply with standard
hardware configurations and are sustainable. Identify information assurance
and security needs; and determine strategies to mitigate problems associated
with system security and poor data quality.
Job Requirements:
MUST have an expert understanding of a wide range of security issues including
architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network access.
Knowledgeable with encryption technology, penetration and vulnerability
analysis of various security technologies and information technology security
issues
Experienced in testing state-of-the-art secure operating systems, networks and
database products.
Experienced with various computer systems administration and system integration
activities including hardware/software installations, configurations and
administration of various Enterprise level productivity products is HIGHLY
desired.
Microsoft, Cisco Certification; Certified Network Administrator (CAN)
Certified Information Security Professional (CISSP) certification is highly
desired.
BA/BS degree in related field or equivalent
