This role is open due to a positive department restructuring. The person who
was in this role previously is still in the Audit department but is now
carrying different responsibilities. This company and more importantly, the
Audit Director you would report to believes in building people to be ready for
the next step in their career. This role provides high-level audit expertise
and consultation to business clients, audit senior leadership and audit
professional staff in order to meet the corporate-wide risk assessment audit
plan. In addition to doing traditional IT Audit work in a multi-platform
environment, the person in this role and his/her team are often called upon but
various IT leaders to participate in new development projects from a risk and
controls perspective. You will lead team efforts to design and execute high
risk audit review, design discussion, timeline management, implementation
strategy and recommends solutions to business clients. Provide high level techn
ical support, guidance and audit review of management staff for audits
performed that impact their technical area. Little to no travel is expected in
this role. You’ll work in a first class office environment and be treated

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requires a BA/BS and the ability to complete and pass any required testing.
Requires a minimum of 8 years of diverse experience in Audit or Information
Technology of which at least 4 years of Lead IT Auditor experience is required
and the remaining 4 years of experience be in some combination of network
security experience, systems administration experience (UNIX, Windows, IBM
Mainframe) or database administration (Sybase, SQL, UDB, DB2). Must demonstrate
the ability to manage staff and have outstanding people development skills.
This role works very closely with department managers in Information
Technology. Superior verbal and written communication skills are a must to
excel in customer facing opportunities. Must demonstrate the ability to lead
others at times without direct authority. You must be able to influence a broad
audience to adopt a particular strategy or direction. Must have strong project
management skills with the ability to lead or manage corporate-wide audit
projects or process improvement initiatives with a high degree of
self-motivation and initiative. You must demonstrate excellent rapport building
skills including the ability to exercise tack and diplomacy. A CISA
certification is preferred. A CISSP, CPA and/or CIA certification is desirable.
