Position: Database Security Architect
Location: Riyadh, , Saudi Arabia
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2006-04-19
The role: Key responsibilities are to manage database security, Ensure best
practice within development teams, work as part of project teams when required
to provide security expertise, proactively manage security management and
baseline adherence. Also work on systems security projects will be required as
needed.
The employer: Financial institution in Saudi Arabia. Role is to be based in
Head Office in Riyadh. Salary up to USD$55,000 (Tax Free) plus excellent
company benefits and performance bonus.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Role will also require some responsibility for systems security in particular
access control management hence understanding of OS security is required.
Minimum 4 years experience in a similar or related environment.
Technical skills: Microsoft SQL and Oracle knowledge including patching,
configuration, secure networking, current vulnerabilities and encryption and
SSO. Some development skills related to databases would be a bonus. Strong
project management skills are essential as well as excellent communication
skills must be extremely client facing and be able to deliver a small amount of
training to development teams as needed.
