This involves identifying customer issues, troubleshooting, determining root cause, and coordinating resolution using a variety of applications and testing tools. These events can include hardware/software failures as well as security breaches and threats. Security Engineer II will be placed in an on-call rotation, responsible for providing support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. - Develop new tools and procedures used to improve the quality of service for VeriSign's customers and Security Operations Center. - Quality assurance and approval of all new products and services introduced into VeriSign's Security Operations Center. - Develop and provide documentation and training for new products and services introduced into VeriSign's Security Operations Center. - Provide presentations for current and potential customers. May include travel. - Interface with external operations groups such as Product Management, Provisioning, Engineering, and IT to complete projects and new procedures.
