PKI Security Software Development Leader

Avaya is a leading global provider of enterprise VoIP. Our Security
Technologies & Development team delivers security technologies across the
entire portfolio. Focus areas include Confidentiality, Identity,
Authentication, Authorization, Mitigation, and Detection. We currently have
opportunities in development, test, and project management.
Responsible to lead the design, implementation, integration, installation and
maintenance Avaya Certificate Authority Public Key Infrastructure including but
not limited to:
Create the Avaya Public Key Infrastructure to allow for a hierarchal key chain
issuing and signing authority for multiple organizations.
Create and Own the Certificate Authority governess. Ensure Business Continuity
planning for all aspects of the company’s ability to issue keys and sign.
Known as the authoritative reference to Avaya’s use of secure key usage.
Evaluate Avaya Certificate Authority and PKI and make recommendations for
changes and improvements continually
Own and Drive PKI and CA at Avaya including CA audit completion by selecting,
meeting, and obtaining certification.
Work with various remote developers, partners and global systems integrators to
coordinate new installations, problem resolution and maintenance
Maintain regular communication with other security experts and developers in
house to ensure a coordinated approach to systems management
Acts as a key technical contributor to the voice solutions security efforts.
Has depth of expertise in TCP/IP family of protocols
Work is performed with minimal direction and reviewed by senior management.
Provides solutions to a diverse range of complex problems.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Security or equivalent work experience
8+ years of experience with software development with at least 4+ years with
Public Key Infrastructure and Certificate Authorities.
At least 2 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing Verisign,
RSA, Entrust or other PKI systems.
Experience with HSPD-12 Compliance and/or NIST FIPS 201.
Ability to make independent decisions within the bounds of management guidance
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to understand and grasp new concepts and technologies quickly
Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks independently
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
Excellent oral and written communication skills and pleasant customer
relationship skills
