Avaya is a leading global provider of enterprise VoIP. Our Security
Technologies & Development team delivers security technologies across the
entire portfolio. Focus areas include Confidentiality, Identity,
Authentication, Authorization, Mitigation, and Detection. We currently have
opportunities in development, test, and project management.
Reporting to the department Director, responsible for Project Management for
the entire organization deliverables for products and technologies including
but not limited to:
Creating and maintaining project schedules for all organizational deliverables.
Tracking current people allocations through roll on and roll off data
Inputting and maintaining the Program Management Database for projects and
people.
Acquiring, tracking, and communicating within the group all GCS AGSP milestones
to monitor compliance to process and to determine future deliverable capacities
vs. roll on and roll off of people resources.
Additional responsibilities include:
Maintaining capitol equipment orders, tracking, and paperwork to budget.
Owning the management of licenses for equipment and products including all
associated record keeping and paperwork.
Administration, paperwork, and record keeping for the Avaya Certificate
Authority Public Key Infrastructure.
Acts as a key project manager improving the organization contribution through
better resource to project alignment. This is not a Program Manager position.
This position is hands on attention to detail, project management, and records
keeping.
Work is performed with minimal direction and reviewed by senior management.
Provides solutions to a diverse range of complex problems.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requires 5-8 years experience and a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
4+ years of software development project management contribution with at least
2+ years experience with PRTM (Pittiglio, Robin, Todd and McGrath)
methodologies.
At least 4 years of hands-on with Microsoft Project using detailed capabilities
for schedule Gantts and resource tracking.
Project management professional (PMP®) certification desirable
Ability to make independent decisions within the bounds of management guidance
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to understand and grasp new concepts and technologies quickly
Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks independently
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
Excellent oral and written communication skills and pleasant customer
relationship skills
