Position: Manager, Information Security
Location: London, , United Kingdom
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2006-03-11
• Provide day-to-day supervision of the information Security team and
ensure all controls and procedures are adhered to by team members and ensures
appropriate shift cover.
• To undertake daily tasks as defined in procedures and daily checklists
• Take general instruction from team management
• To ensure clear handovers are performed at end of shifts and prior to
absence
• Monitoring, troubleshooting and fixing of faults and willingness to see
problems through to completion.
• Proactively identify and escalate issues for resolution.
• Gatherer, provider and receiver of information
• Documents activities, exceptions and problems and uses correct
terminology
• Effective written communication
• Participates in meetings
• Plans, schedules and prioritises own work in most efficient way
• Willing to take on others’ tasks
• Is aware of risks in own role
• Demonstrates solid knowledge of company Policy
• Adheres to and helps others meet policy requirements, standards and
controls. Understands risk of non-adherence
• Involved in collating information, testing and feedback phases of
projects
• Other duties as required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications-essential
2-3 years experience in a similar role in a team leader/supervisory position.
Qualifications-desirable
CISSP and/or SANS qualified.
