As a member of the team, you will be an important part of the growth of a 
dynamic technology company, leading the way in this critical area of internet 
security.   

The Senior Product Manager will take a leadership role, working closely with 
development, sales and 3rd parties to drive successful product launches and 
increased market penetration. 

It is critical to the continued growth of the company that the Product Manager 
provide a thorough understanding of market needs and competitive offerings/ 
opportunities. 

Responsibilities:

·         Provide in-depth market, industry and competitive analysis

·         Position the company and product line within appropriate 
technology, business and user communities

·         Conduct investigations and make strategic decisions concerning 
the product line, managing the feature funnel 

·         Provide written marketing requirements for new functions and 
features to the Product Development Group and monitor deliverables

·         Champion product solutions across both Software Development 
and Marketing groups by communicating product requirements, features and 
benefits, and market/customer needs 

·         Work with Software Development and other stakeholders in a 
cohesive manner; communicating effectively and managing expectations 

·         Create messaging that is focused, directly connecting product 
features to customer pain 

·         Contribute to the development of content for product marketing 
collateral 

·         Measure customer satisfaction, market penetration and product 
use 

·         Identify potential business partners and their attributes

JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
·         10 years of experience as a Product Manager in a high tech 
product environment; with at least 3 years in security based products which may 
include: authentication, identity management, security appliances, intrusion 
detection/prevention, anti-spam or anti-virus software 

·         Depth of knowledge in web application architecture, web 
services, and infrastructure security

·         Understanding of Open Source communities and how to 
market/launch new products within them

·         Track record in implementing large scale, mission-critical web 
solutions

·         Track record of building successful alliances

·         Experience with Web 2.0 concepts and technologies

·         Demonstrated success in product delivery, from inception to 
launch 

·         Experience managing multiple products within a single business 
unit 

·         Innovative approach to whole solutions through components, 
modules and comprehensive implementations

·         B.Sc or B.Eng., with high academic achievement

·         Excellent written and oral communication skills
