Position: Sales Engineer
Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire, , United Kingdom
Type: Permanent F/T

Seeking an experienced, highly self-motivated sales engineer to support a
professional corporate sales team. As a pre-sales engineer, you will
responsible for supporting sales efforts from a technical perspective for large
corporate customers in the UK and Ireland. Strong presentation and
interpersonal skills are essential. The position will be based in Abingdon,
Oxfordshire, England with 25-50% travel.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
- This role requires a well-rounded background in information security and
anti-virus technology, best practices and standards.
- Provide deep product and industry expertise to support the sales (sales
calls, demonstrations, technical discussions, security architecture design,
business case).
- Responsible for providing content security technical leadership to ensure
that proposed solutions are in line with the customer's enterprise security
objectives.
- Drive identified major account opportunities (i.e. technical consulting,
upper level management presentations) while maintaining long-term relationships
with customer's security functional group.
- Develop and provide training for customers and partners regarding products
and content security best practices.
- Understanding of the security implications of the major privacy regulations
would be a strong plus.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE)
Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT)
Security certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or equivalent
