Position: Technical Marketing Engineer
Location: Redwood City, California, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2006-03-25
Manage reviews of Check Point solutions in industry magazines and websites on a
global basis.
Manage certification testing process of Check Point solutions by certification
organizations on global basis.
Manage the content, setup, distribution, and operation of Check Point
demonstration equipment at internal and external Check Point events.
Analyze and test competitive products, produce competitive reports, white
papers, briefs, etc. as they relate to competitive product reviews and/or
certification testing.
Create effective tools for product reviews and demonstrations, including
reviewer guides, technical presentations, data sheets, white papers, briefs,
FAQs, etc.
Represent Check Point at seminars, industry panels, tradeshows, customer
meetings, etc.
Develop and present sales training for Check Point SEs and reseller/partner
SEs.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

BA/BS in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or Engineering
required.
4+ years technical marketing, product marketing, or technical presales and
support experience, preferably in the networking or network security industry
Hands-on experience in working with Check Point solutions
Solid knowledge of network security fundamentals, excellent oral and written
communication skills, and excellent presentation skills
