Position: Security Architect
Location: Beverly, Massachusetts, United States
Type: Permanent F/T

Groove is the latest application to be offered as part of Microsoft Office, and
the Security and Performance Team is looking for a Software Design Engineer
with expertise and interest in security issues. You will be responsible for
the architecture, design, and development of security features for the Groove
client and/or server applications.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

You should have significant experience in both design and implementation of
secure commercial products, preferably written in C++, and knowledge of COM is
a definite plus. In addition to your development roles, other development
teams will look to you for security-related expertise, and you will be involved
in reviewing the security aspects of a variety of Groove products and features.
An understanding of various security areas such as PKI, X.509, SSL, access
control frameworks, and authentication protocols is important, as is high-level
experience with using crypto algorithms, and key agreements and other schemes.
