Rising Star. With a focus on Banks and other Financial Services organizations, 
our client’s Security Compliance Consulting team consists of individuals 
who have Big 4 experience, who have experience working with FFIEC, OCC, Federal 
Reserve and SEC regulatory issues and who specialize in regulatory issues and 
regulatory best practices such as Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), VISA Cisp, GLBA, SAS 70 
Audits, FISMA, Base II, HIPAA, COSO, CoBIT and more. Their consultants have 
earned industry certifications such as the CISA and/or CISSP. Their new 
security compliance software is gaining traction in the financial services 
space but has tremendous growth potential when presented by the right sales and 
sales engineering team. In this role, you will serve clients i
 n and around your local market but may experience up to 50% regional travel. 
This is not an IT Audit role or a pure Security Compliance Consulting role. 
However, prior IT Audit skills are very helpful in order for you to demonstrate 
a high level security controls understanding that drives regulatory compliance 
requirements. You will support the sales process as a Sales Engineer. 
You’ll be providing a variety of Security Compliance, Audit and Risk 
Management services primarily in the Banking and Financial Services industry 
but could work in Education, Entertainment/Media, Government, Healthcare, 
Manufacturing, Professional Services, Retail / Distribution, 
Telecommunications, Transportation or Utilities. As a sales engineer, you will 
be expected to help to close sales, do product demonstrations and will assist 
with product installs. Your work will support Security Compliance Consultants 
who perform the following work: Identifying client’s deficiencies in 
security pol
 icies, procedures and actions through GAP analysis; Perform security 
requirements mapping; Assist clients in the creation of security policies and 
procedures creation; Perform pci Audit prep work; Assist in the implementation 
of a start-of-the art security compliance tool and work with the client to 
customize the tool to their specific compliance needs.  
  



JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Requires a BA/BS in It or related field along with 3-6+ years experience with a 
combination of exposure to IT Audit, Security Risk Assessments and Regulatory 
Compliance (Specifically in Banking and Financial Services). You will 
demonstrate a high-level, IT controls level understanding of regulatory 
compliance topics such as Sarbanes-Oxley, GLBA, VISA Cisp, SAS 70 Audits, 
HIPAA, FISMA, Base II, ISO 17799 and more. It is preferred that you possess 
certifications such as the CISA and/or CISSP. You must be comfortable with up 
to 50% travel. Experience working directly in Banking or other related 
Financial Services is also preferred. Advanced education is appreciated. A 
background that includes Sales, Sales Engineering or a mix of IT 
Audit/Security/Risk Management consulting and sales is a must. A prior Big 4 or 
similar consulting background is preferred. Exceptionally strong verbal and 
written communication skills are a must. Enthusiasm, high energy and drive to 
take a new produc
 t to market is a must.
