Position: Sr. Security Engineer
Location: St. Paul, Minnesota, United States
Type: Contract
Closing Date: 2006-02-22
6 month contract-to-perm-hire position for a Senior Network Security Engineer.
Role includes:
* Define network security infrastructure requirements for Extranet VPN (B2B)
connectivity
* Work w/ external customer and internal network/ security depts. to provide
secure communications
* Assess system/network management requirements
* Devel. enterprise wide technology infrastructure
* Develops and assesses migration specifications
* Provides senior level technical support
* Reviews existing systems, networks/activities, makes technical
recommendations for improvements
* Develops detailed implementation plans based on architecture developed,
supervises implementation
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
* Firewall/security infrastructure design, engineering, operations (5 years)
* Cisco network infrastructure - routing/switching (5 years)
* Project management and coordination (3 years)
* Customer consulting/coordination skills (3 years)
* Any certifications such as CISSP, CCNA, CCNP and CSSP are a plus
